Steering Committee 2nd Monday of the month, 4:30 pm
The Steering Committee is the Board of Directors for Current. Responsibilities include the oversight of all subcommittees, develop and oversee the budget in collaboration with chamber staff, participate in short and long-range planning, actively recruit Current members and sponsors and act as ambassadors to the public, business community and the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.

Event Planning Subcommittee 1st Wednesday of the month, 5:30 pm Jody Weyers, Chair
The Event Planning Subcommittee shall develop, plan and oversee Current events. Events may range from monthly main events to more frequent social gatherings (link activities). A blend of professional development and social networking activities should be planned to accommodate the broad interests of the general membership and support Current’s overall mission.
Marketing & Public Relations Subcommittee 4th Wednesday of the month, 12:00 pm Kristin Kent, Chair
The Marketing & Public Relations Subcommittee shall develop and execute a strategic marketing plan for Current. Members will assist with maintaining a clear brand identity, web site development and content, and event marketing.
Membership Relations Subcommittee 3rd Wednesday of the month, 12:00 pm Mary Frank, Chair
The Membership Relations Subcommittee shall assist with the primary development of strategies to attract and retain Current individual and corporate membership. Members will define and implement membership benefits, recruit individuals and companies for organizational support and growth, and execute programs to maximize corporate involvement.
Ambassador Program 1st Tuesday of the month, 5:30 pm Chad Heath, Chair
Current ambassadors will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of individual and corporate members. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining relationships between Current and other outside organizations. A partial list of responsibilities includes meeting with new members, meeting with prospective corporate members, assist with membership renewals and present to local community organizations.
Northeast Wisconsin Young Professionals Forum
The Northeast Wisconsin Young Professionals Forum is a regional collaboration of young professionals from throughout the New North. Still in its infancy stages, this group is collectively working to execute regular events to bring young professionals together for social networking and professional development opportunities from throughout the region. Meeting locations rotate amongst the participating organizations including Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Kewaunee and Marinette.
