Current is a young professionals network that helps to recruit, develop and retain young talent to the Greater Green Bay Area. Current works to captivate the young professional audience and initiate their involvement in the local business community. We do this through social networking and professional development activities that seek to engage our "creative class" of individuals age 21-40.

Available Programming

Monthly Main Events
Current hosts a monthly main event that focuses on a topic appealing to young professionals. From cultural experiences to themed entertainment, we balance the need for social networking with professional development to meet our membership's need for personal growth and development.

Read to Lead
Current launched this reading group to encourage young professionals to pursue professional development through reading. The program offers participants a chance to network and to reflect on leadership, best practices and other special topics pertinent to a variety of industries. The program is also intended to provide an opportunity for young professionals to interact with area leaders who have significant work experience and are generally more advanced in their careers.

Educational Seminars
Current organizes education seminars to address the growing demand to develop both personally and professionally. Seminars range from such topics as how to effectively network to sound financial management. Whatever the topic, Current engages its audience in a meaningful and productive way.

Community Tours
Having a strong knowledge of local industry and community venues is of great importance to young professionals. That's why we host community tours in conjunction with local businesses and community organizations. By letting these organizations showcase what they offer to the community, young professionals become more connected to their community by realizing what it has to offer.

Roundtable Discussions
From economic development focus groups to diversity circles, Current provides the venue and group facilitators to engage young professionals in a meaningful and productive manner. Discussion topics of interest to young professionals are presented and the discussion is concluded with an action plan summary to give a voice to the next generation.
